"As it was in the Days of Noah so shall it be at the coming of the Son of Man" - Now happe
For hundreds of years since the reformation, graduates of traditional bible seminaries who embraced an allegorical hermeneutic of scripture (a theory of interpretation inherited from the Roman Medieval Church) dismissed the "Angel View" of Genesis 6, the view that Fallen Angels came down to earth and took human wives for themselves. According to this view, this unholy union resulted to hybrid offspring born to them, the Nephilim, blood-thirsty giant creatures that corrupted the human gene pool so much so that God intervened with the Great Flood to save Noah and his family. While this view is scriptural and was the view of the early church, it remains today a minority but fast-growing view. Many seminarians simply neither know it (it wasn't taught to them in seminaries) nor cannot accept its bizarre interpretation due to seminary-bias or simply a limited imagination. This is about to change as the science of genetic modification gives rise to "Gene Editing" Do-It-Yourself Science Kits. Indeed, reality can be as bizarre as Hollywood science fiction.
Why is this so important? It's because no less than Jesus himself gave his disciples an end time prophecy about what would happen before He returned. It was an allusion to the conditions prior to the Flood of Noah, the prevalent genetic corruption caused by Fallen angels on humans and even animals.
What will happen before Jesus returns?

“No one knows when that day or hour will comev —not the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father, because just as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be when the Son of Man comes.
What happened in the days of Noah?
Genesis 6:1-8 (ISV)
Now after the population of human beings had increased throughout thea earth, and daughters had been born to them, some divine beings noticed how attractive human women were, so they took wives for themselves from a selection that pleased them. So the LORD said, “My Spirit won’t remain with human beings forever, because they’re truly mortal. Their lifespan will be 120 years.”
The Nephilim were on the earth at that time (and also immediately afterward), when those divine beings were having sexual relations with those human women, who gave birth to children for them. These children became the heroes and legendary figures of ancient times.
The LORD saw that human evil was growing more and more throughout the earth, with every inclination of people’s thoughts becoming only evil on a continuous basis. Then the LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and he was deeply grieved about that. So the LORD said, “I will annihilate these human beings whom I’ve created from the earth, including people, animals, crawling things, and flying creatures, because I’m grieving that I made them.”
